Smarter Working West Midlands

Smarter Working West Midlands is a programme part funded funded by the European Union and managed by Projects Division of Coventry University Enterprises Ltd (CUE Ltd).

The Smarter Working West Midlands project provides free support to businesses in the region which are classed as Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Typically this will consist of two days of specialist advice.

  • Managing the IT Environment
  • Managing the distributed workforce
  • Ways to improve business growth
  • Energy saving in the workplace

  • Workplace Wellbeing


Project aims include:

  • Promote the benefit of smarter working within the public and private sector
  • Deliver smarter working seminars, events and workshops
  • Support West Midlands organisations in the adoption of smarter working practices and procedures
  • Deliver specific services which enable organisations to monitor and evaluate their reduction in C02 emissions as a result of adopting smarter working processes.

The overarching aim of the smarter working project in the West Midlands is to raise the productivity of organisations while reducing carbon emissions, through the collection of measures and initiatives which aim to change the way organisations operate.
